Just spent a 1/2 hour on Google Earth looking at all the valleys within a two-hundred mile radius of Akron. Not one of them showed any sign of a cast iron repair facility. Maybe it is located in a secret cave on the side of an unknown valley wall? When you return from your vacation, hopefully not in a valley, you will send me the name of the company *and* the name of the valley to look in to find them. Not in a big rush to get it fixed, since I can't even start on the project at SH in the new location until the middle of next month or later. Must disassemble the entire unit before the welding, then reassemble and rewire and repaint the machine. Not like fixing my old Chevy, but it will be a fun and worthwhile project. The repaired mixer will be donated to a local non-profit that serves meals to needy families, domestic abuse survivors, and assorted homeless people on a regular basis. Please introduce yourself, if we happen to be at SH at the same time.
