Hey guys,
Just brought in and setup my PowerMac G5 with Dual 2.0GHz PPC G5, 6GB DDR RAM,
about 500GB HDD space. It is currently using the iMac to access the internet as
I do not have an antenna for the airport card, so if you are having issues
connecting to the internet on it please make sure the iMac is connected to the
wifi and is on.
The PowerMac G5 is running OS X 10.5.8, has some games loaded as well as iWork
'09, iLife '09, and the latest tenfourfox. There are 2 accounts on the
computer, one is my own personal account, and the other is synhak, it uses our
wifi password for the login and is only a standard user not administrator.
Just like the iMac this is one of my personal computers that I am setting up
for use as a public workstation, feel free to use it for whatever you want just
do not destroy it.
I am looking at obtaining Final Cut Studio 2 to install on it for those who
want to do/learn some video editing.
