In the past, it has usually helped me to find the ASCII value for the bad character. I'm not sure exactly which character you mean.
You might have to get some text with the bad character and the parse it out character by character to find the bad one. Then, just do a find and replace anywhere that text might occur. Hope this helps! Does anyone have a quick fix for the black diamond with a question mark? Over the years, I've tried all kinds of things and nothing seems to work. Currently, this is in some data that I am importing from another system, so I can't avoid having to deal with it. _____________________ Derrick Peavy derr...@derrickpeavy.com _____________________ ------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, manage your profile @ http://www.acfug.org?fa=login.edituserform For more info, see http://www.acfug.org/mailinglists Archive @ http://www.mail-archive.com/discussion%40acfug.org/ List hosted by http://www.fusionlink.com -------------------------------------------------------------
