nevermind! got it.. made 2 mistakes.. 1. I messed with the isapi pointer -- was supposed to leave as .net dll -- leaving it alone after the connector setup ran. Used to having to mess with this. 2. my docbase was incorrect in server.xml for host specified.
I'll post an article on this.
