Hey,

When I moved my webapp to an AIR application I automatically inherited mouse wheel scrolls, thanks. Now I just need to convince everyone using the webapp to use the AIR app instead.

It is in AIR, but not in Flex. Problem is with AIR it's only vertical not horizontal. There is a bug filed to turn this one by default. I can't remember which one.

And yes you're right it's tremendously annoying.

I googled "flex datagrid scroll wheel" and got some interesting results.

This thread might help, since it's about clicking to set mouse focus and then rolling the scroll wheel:

And if you want to do some extra JavaScript work, this thread discusses how to get the datagrid scrolling without having to click it first to set mouse focus:

Hi,

I have been searching on how to use the mouse wheel with list based controls (specifically datagrids) but I haven't come up with anything. I basically just want to click on the datagrid and use the mouse wheel to scroll through contents like every other UI allows. How do I enable this?

thanks,

Corey
