Correct, contribs.org at the time was the only 'organized entity' (as per remark from Charlie below) to whom Mitel was able to 'hand over'

Currently contribs.org is 'still' registered to SME Server Inc....

Can anyone fill in the following dates for the history ?

e-smith

Mitel

Various things like Ruffdogs/Lycoris etc (they are part of the history
whether they achieved anything or not)

contribs.org

Versions dates :

4.x (e-smith)
5.x (Mitel ? approx 2005 ?)
6.x (contribs.org basd on RHEL 7.3 approx 1 Aug 2006)
7.x (contribs.org based on CentOS 4)
8.x (contribs.org)

Would like to get a potted history done ASAP please ?
