I can confirm this, it just happens once on each reboot, after the boot process is complete. There is a service that restarts the connection? or maybe something is touching the usb0 interface on the final stages of the boot process?
I have no clue if this is the same case that I have here. Though I know why it happens here: When I boot and reconnect it, with ifconfig usb0 ..., it works for some seconds and then freezes totally. The reason here is the dhcp, it finds usb0, some Ethernet-over-USB, and though it is set, it still tries dhcp, throws out the set usb0. Once it has noticed that it cannot dish out an address, it behaves properly, and allows me to set the IP-address for good. My worksround is simply, to wait a minute after the connection, before I do the manual settings.
Though maybe your problem is a totally different one, Uwe _______________________________________________ Qi Hardware Discussion List Mail to list (members only): discussion@lists.en.qi-hardware.com Subscribe or Unsubscribe: http://lists.en.qi-hardware.com/mailman/listinfo/discussion
