BTW emacs also nowadays supuports spreadsheets via 'ses-mode'. There is an example file located in: /usr/share/emacs/23.2/etc/ses-example.ses New spreadsheets are created by opening a file ending on '.ses'. For formulas you can use any lisp functions provided by emacs, such as: (+ A1 A2 A3) (apply '+ (ses-range B4 B7)) Some documentation is available by pressing Ctrl+h f ses-mode <Ret> or Ctrl-h m from within spreadsheet files.
