No, the windows driver did not even start in my case, giving "error code 2" or something equally win-stupid. NN did not reply to the handshake properly from the very beginning, so no network interface to ping from. Could you please check which linux kernel/windows versions combinations do work for you? I'll try to narrow it down then.
