I.e. if you gave the PC you connect to access to a UBI partition, you'd first have to unmount the partition on the Ben's Linux, then later remount it, when the PC is done. This only works if you have a separate (vfat) data partition, since you can't unmount/remount the rootfs. On the ben you nowadays have sftp support, so most Linuxes can quasi-mount the ben's filesystem as a share.
