May has traditionally been Anelok's evolution month. Here is this
year's update:

(Freud had me call the file evil-hw-201705.pdf for a moment :)

The various steps of the past were getting a bit confusing, so I went back
to the past/present/future structure. I also reduced the number of
evaluation states, since "evaluation going poorly" wasn't really useful:
if it's about something in the past, then we've obviously found something
better or it wouldn't have been replaced, and if it's something in the
present, then it will either have to start to look better or get replaced
soon.

Then I've updated the RF-kill solution and I introduced two new items
on the user input side:

- a revised slider. The idea there is to use eight instead of just two
sensor plates, and thus get direct spacial information from the slider.
This approach should need almost no calibration. I've already made a
design in the "retouch" branches of anelok/anelok and anelok/mexp, but
I haven't assembled the board yet. This is indicted as "Mk 3-X" in the
  evolution diagram.

- in the wishful thinking section, I put a touch screen. The problem
with touch screens is that there doesn't seem to be much of a choice
of off-the-shelf components at such small a size. I found one that
would work with a slightly larger panel (1.5"), but the whole device
  would then get unpleasantly large.
