I am surprised by this ratio, I thought companies donate more. Maybe
they do it using different channels? I think large projects are often
funded by companies in echange for some services (Firefox - Google
relationship?)

Also companies often donate full-time developers to projects. I think
companies have more money in general - maybe they don't know how to use
it for FOSS?
