[pfSense-discussion] Getting ready to setup two test systems

Hello all..

I am getting ready to setup two test systems so I can learn about and test 
about carp.

Questions:

1- I saw some post going back and forth on the list about carp not working 
correctly in one of the recent versions. Is the latest version expected to 
work with CARP correctly or are there issues with it at this point?

2- If there are CARP issues in the latest version, what version is suggested 
for testing and learning about CARP?

3- How does one know if one of the two or more PfSense machines in a CARP 
setup is down? Just curious because I would want to know if one was down so 
I know when I am running on the spare tire :)
