Scratch this one Bill..
All I am doing at the moment is trying to setup a CARP environment in a lab
type setting.. I don't want to test it on my live network :)
I have a machine that is one NIC short and I hadn't thought of using the LAN
interface which I don't use for anything else.
So, I just asked if I could use the LAN interface for CARP traffic, then I
looked (duh!) and there it was in front of my face. :)

I am not using the LAN interface for anything and hate to waste a NIC..
OK, also I have to go to the damn store and buy another :)
eh???? I know with the amount of posts you've had, I should probably
know your setup by now, but it would be helpful if you described what
you are trying to do. Else I'm going to say yes, but I suspect I'm
saying yes to the wrong question because the right question hasn't
actually been asked.
