That depends on what your intent really is. If you are after redundancy,
setup gmirror:
http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Create_a_Software_RAID1_%28gmirror%29

Voila, instant RAID 1.

If you are after a periodic backup, on 2.0 /etc/rc.create_full_backup
(and its brother, rc.restore_full_backup) might be useful in addition to
the gmirror above.
