La compatibilità al 100% con un "fomato" che è "malformato" di nascita
non esiste di sicuro nemmeno per la versione Novell. Credo che questa
faccia poca differenza rispetto alla versione di Sun o delle distro
GNU/Linux su codice 2.x (la 2.1 verrà presto rimpiazzata dalla 2.2).
* E-Mail as Microsoft Office Document:* The standard
edition of OpenOffice.org supports e-mailing of files as PDF files from
within the OpenOffice.org application. With the Novell Edition of
OpenOffice.org, you can also e-mail any document as a Microsoft Office

anche OOo "normale" permette, nelle versioni recenti, di allegare
documenti in formato M$Office, anche se ci tengo a ribadire che sia
opportuno mandare in formato PDF se destinato alla sola lettura, e in
ODF (che è standard ISO) in caso contrario. Sarà il destinatario ad
installarsi OpenOffice, se deve modificarlo (tanto è gratis e di
funzionamento intuitivo, non vedo il problema).

of OpenOffice.org eases the migration of_ many_ macros from Microsoft
Excel. Although_ not all macros can be successfully migrated_, this
interoperability offers more than the standard edition, which does not

rimane il "sospetto" per eventuale codice che provenga da Novell, visto
lo scellerato patto che ha stretto con Microsoft

Questo può migliorare la resa di documenti importati, ma non ha nulla a
che fare con il prodotto OOo, basta procurarsi i font giusti, o aprire
documenti che usino gli stessi font che si hanno già installati sul pc.

for Windows includes initial release of ODMA integration such as GroupWise.
Non ho idea di che si tratti. In ogni caso, per prevenire "vendor lock
in" (=di rimaner bloccati e incatenati a soluzioni di un venditore)
eviterei prodotti che siano legati a tecnologie proprietarie, sempre che
questo "GroupWise" lo sia (non lo conosco e sono pigro per cercare con
google).
