Could you please open a terminal, start xev and press AltGr? This should
produce output like

root 0x10b, subw 0x0, time 10461248, (20,-18), root:(1462,814),
state 0x0, keycode 108 (keysym 0xfe11, ISO_Level5_Shift), same_screen YES,
XKeysymToKeycode returns keycode: 94
XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XmbLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XFilterEvent returns: False
which may help us to find the source of your problem.
