get the source, install maven (if you don't have it ready), type the
magic word "maven" and watch the show

Now I'm looking for contributors for the docs. The maven generated site
is nice, but most of the documents are still incomplete/outdated.
If anyone has some free time, please check and work on
- developer list (in project.xml): well, if you are an active developer
just check your name is there and add your timezone
- faq: it could be useful to add some common question from the mailing
lists
- install: check and update the doc, explain how to get dependency
library
- front page (status.xml)
- changes report (already migrated, add latest changes)
- directory layout (well, here some maven knowledge is required)

after that, I think we should add a good tag/attribute reference and
some user documentation (actually documentation is only in the sample
site, I think creating a quick reference from the sample site and adding
some snapshots could be a good idea).

If the decision is to remove the prefixes from the code conventions for
me it's ok (I don't love them too much too), so we can modify the
code_conventions.xml document and the checkstyle setting file.

Post comments and ideas about the new code on the list, and let me know
if everything on the repository is ok

fabrizio
