[displaytag-user] Rendering last forever

Hi!

I'm a new user of displaytag, and like it very much.

But I have a problem handling big lists (arround 4000 elements), it take 
forever to render...
The same jsp page works with 400 elements with no problem.

Is there some known limitation in terms of list size?
