I am able to put a PDF image in the export eoptions along with excel,csv,xml.and it is exporting data but not in PDF format...Now I want that the option come alongwith the res of the others..and i get the output in PDF.
I agree it sounds like a nice feature - but do you *really* need it. In my experience, PDFs are more like reports and they tend to need a lot more than just data - headers, footers, etc. If we were to implement PDF export - it would be rather dumb (in its display) and I'm afraid we would end up with more critiques than praise. The good news is it wouldn't be hard to use the display tags XML output and FOP to create PDF on your own.
