I want to create custom styles. I haven't been able to try it yet because I don't know  >>where<<  to define the "classes". I don't want to use CSS only.

I would really appreciate if you could give me some pointers.

Using custom styles should be easy enough.  Have you tried it?  What
errors are you getting?
