Distcc bugs occurring on Gentoo should be filed at http://bugs.gentoo.org first. But since we're here now, let's take a stab at it. If you change MAKEOPTS to just -j1 does this compile? What happens if you make no changes to MAKEOPTS and disable distcc? Are you using the same versions (all 3.3.x or all 3.2.x) on your distcc machines?
