While it is often possible to compile between different versions of GCC,
it really doesn't always work... you may have simply run in to a
compatibility issue between GCC 3.3.1 and 3.2.2, between preprocessing
(done locally) and actual compilation?

Maybe you can install gcc 3.3.1 on floyd?


I test this issue with two machines with red hat and gcc 3.2.2 and distcc works
