Following your bug report guide: export CFLAGS="-O3 -march=pentiumpro -funroll-loops -fexpensive-optimizations" export CXXFLAGS=$CFLAGS export DISTCC_HOSTS="proxy xandros database" export CCACHE_PREFIX=distcc
In my ~/.bashrc I have three hosts. Already built openssh with it following the IBM tutorial on it. distcc 2.14 Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/3.3.3/specs Configured with: ../configure --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --enable-shared --enable-threads=posix --disable-checking --disable-libunwind-exceptions --with-system-zlib --enable-__cxa_atexit --host=i386-redhat-linux Thread model: posix gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.3-7) I think this maybe a ccache problem? http://fedoranews.org/ghenry/bugs/distcc.log is the error I am running make oldconfig and get: make oldconfig HOSTLD scripts/kconfig/conf scripts/kconfig/libkconfig.so: undefined reference to `__builtin_va_start' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [scripts/kconfig/conf] Error 1 make: *** [oldconfig] Error 2 Who/what shall I debug? ccachc? or distcc?
