Is it possible to use a link-based masquerading configuration to distribute compilation across different architecture compilers and cross-compilers?
The "regulars" link-based masquerading configuration works great but if used to cross-compile it would invoke always the local compiler.
If your build system invokes, say, ia64-linux-gcc-3.3, and you masquerade that name, and such a compiler is present on the volunteers, then it should work OK.
