Hi, You are not the first to complain about your "disappointment".
Not sure to answer exactly to your worries but... AFAIK, gta01 was *never* described as a consumer ready device. It has always been clear that gta01 was a *developer* device, useable to develop applications, but clearly not useable as an everyday phone. I would rather thank every OM developer that takes part in the kernel-devel mailing list, who are working very hard with power management to make gta02 more battery-friendly... Sebastien.
