Leaving aside the unusable Requires header, could we still get PKG-INFO exposed in the /simple/ index ? This would then make it possible to access the basic meta-data cached via the CDN and without having to download the package. Something like: <a href="https://pypi.python.org/pypi?name=egenix-mx-base&version=3.2.6&:action=display_pkginfo">3.2.6 PKG-INFO</a><br/> for each release.
