This sounds like a great idea, especially since I don't run environment.py from my shell startup scripts (since it takes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long seriously how does anyone ever do this without going insane) so it only ever gets run manually.
