I was looking at the --plain vs --no-plain option here: http://doc.bazaar.canonical.com/plugins/en/fastimport-plugin.html#fast-export The thing is I don't actually know what they mean by metadata. Looks like Florent used the --no-plain option, which I did at first, but when I used git fast-import it gave me the following error: fatal: This version of fast-import does not support feature commit-properties. I wasn't sure what kind of information was in there, or how to get at it, but I imagine the commits could have issue tracker info like this? http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14518594/migrate-bazaar-to-git-with-commit-properties-to-link-bugs-fixed Is there any such info, and would it be ok to lose it? I looked into other git-bzr type plugins, but it seems like they use fast-import internally too.
