Jeff Hodges was quite generous with his time yesterday after the BOF
and educated John Merrells and myself on many of the design
objectives of SAML 2.0.
Conclusion: It seems possible that a User-centric SAML 2.0 Profile
can be defined to execute on the Identity 2.0 vision.
While the lists continues to discuss use cases etc. to see if a WG in
IETF makes sense, John and I will confer with SAML experts
(volunteers?) that are interested in driving convergence, and report
back to the list.
