Hi again; I've just added ticket #1143 to make parse_lookup implement the pre r1792 behaviour of ManyToMany kwarg queries, and allow reverse queries providing analogous behaviour.
While this fixes the immediate bug, it doesn't solve the larger question of what constitutes correct behaviour. Yours, Russ Magee
