Granted. However, what this discussion needs is the specific, not abstract. We're all agreed that "missing comments bad, helpful comments good". Tell us where we need more comments. It's not like there has been a conscious effort to _not_ comment code - if there is an area that is lacking inline documentation, its because whoever checked the code in thought it _was_ obvious (at the time, at least). Point out the flaws, and we'll fix them.
