We can only merge a branch when it's done, and unfortunately there
aren't many branches which have gotten to that stage. Also, other
changes in Django have effects on some of them -- for example,
per-object-permissions will essentially be made obsolete by the new
work being done on the admin.

If somebody wants to step up and champion a particular branch, go for
it; just remember that code speaks louder than anything else :)
