Hi,

I've been working (playing and trying to learn some things) for about
two months now, so therefor I might have understood some debates on
this group wrongly. I don't understand the new-admin development and
separating admin from the model, because some people mention that it
will solve row-permission. Somehow I don't think that the
RowLevelPermission branch will become obsolete with the new
development.

As I would like to see RowLevelPermission branch bundled with the
Django in the future, I'm willing to contribute to the development of
it. In order to do that, I would need some advise on how to do that.
Are the Django branches up-to-date with respect to the main
development branch? What is to be done with the branch in order to put
it in the main release? I skimmed through the wiki page, and found
that some bugs are present and that some tests are to be written,
mainly regarding the use of the branch with the admin. Maybe new
testing framework can be used in order to create unit tests? How did
you check so far if something worked well in the admin? How to submit
something to the development branch?

Do you plan to propose this as the project for the forthcoming google
soc?

All the best,
Mladen
