I updated the Italian translations on the already existing ticket: http://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/1984 I hereby formally ask to be included in the Django AUTHORS file. :-) I updated and checked the .po files with KBabel. I removed as much pronouns as possible, using the impersonal form. For the remaining ones, I used the formal/polite form, as discussed on the list. The form used is the "Lei" one: the "Voi" one (same as "Usted" in Spanish) has been out of usage in most of Italy for decades now. In a few exceptions I kept the colloquial "Tu" form: it would have been a little silly to have "Vada" for a "Go" button. ;-) On a related note, I had to dig in the source code of the bin/make-messages.py command to discover how to update the djangojs.po file (that is, with the "-d djangojs" undocumented option). I'll try and put together a code and doc patch for this issue.
