As one of the most popular writers today, Stephen King shares a few key
writing tips that you should be able to use (regardless of what you're
writing – from [http://uk.bestessays.com/ uk essays] to fictional
 stories.)

 Be honest and relatable.

Honesty is actually important when it comes to writing fiction. Readers
would be able to tell if your characters are honest – and when they do
they will learn to love them. Relatable events would be great, too.
That'll get readers feeling for your characters.

Don't care too much about what others may think.

You're going to be put down for your writing at some point in your career,
that's for sure. You're going to get rejected, and not everyone is going
to love what you write. Here's an important tip: keep writing anyway.
Never let any of the negativity get to you, although it's also important
to listen to what it can teach you. Just don't let it stop you from doing
 what means most to you.

 Read. A lot.
One surefire way to get better at writing is by reading. Read books – good
books, bad books, every kind of book you can think of – then pick out the
ones that you like. Learn from those.

 Write. A lot.

Sometimes the only way to really get better is by actually writing. Keep
writing and don't give up on it as long as you know that it's what you
want to do. Practice makes progress, remember.
