#27015: Hidden widget shouldn't have maxlength/minlength attributes --------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Reporter: claudep | Owner: nobody Type: Cleanup/optimization | Status: new Component: Forms | Version: master Severity: Normal | Resolution: Keywords: | Triage Stage: Accepted Has patch: 0 | Needs documentation: 0 Needs tests: 0 | Patch needs improvement: 0 Easy pickings: 0 | UI/UX: 0 --------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Changes (by bmispelon):
* easy: 1 => 0 * stage: Unreviewed => Accepted Comment: That seems like a reasonable feature request. I think the widget should still output those attribute if they've been specified by the user (not everyone cares about valid HTML and they might actually want to use those attribute with javascript for example). This might make the implementation a bit tricky (which is why I removed the "easy pickings" flag). -- Ticket URL: <https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/27015#comment:1> Django <https://code.djangoproject.com/> The Web framework for perfectionists with deadlines. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django updates" group.
