 I have created a Pull Request for this ticket.

 I referenced the pull request (
 https://github.com/django/django/pull/16342/ ) mentioned above in the
 discussion.

 I tested it and found that it was only working for text which was starting
 with "$ " and not covering text starting with "...\>".

 So, I used the regex to resolve the issue and made the copy functionality
 available for both Linux/MacOS Option and Windows Option
