#9318: "Virtual" behaviour for signal dispatcher and model inheritance -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- Reporter: svetlyak40wt | Owner: nobody Status: new | Milestone: Component: Core framework | Version: 1.0 Resolution: | Keywords: model inheritance, signals, dispatch Stage: Accepted | Has_patch: 1 Needs_docs: 0 | Needs_tests: 0 Needs_better_patch: 0 | -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- Comment (by Alex):
Why not just use klass.__bases__ to avoid any special dependence on knowing it's a model. I realize it isn't a common case to have signals who's sender isn't a model, but I don't see any overhead in allowing it. -- Ticket URL: <http://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/9318#comment:3> Django <http://code.djangoproject.com/> The Web framework for perfectionists with deadlines. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django updates" group.
