Here is an updated patch...
1. Only save sessions when actually modified
2. Only session.save() when django.contrib.sessions is used.
3. Survive calls of cycle_key()
4. Simplify login()
5. Rename new _session_cache to _session_store to avoid confusion
6. Updated comments
