#11984: Problem with date_hierarchy in Django 1.1 - Truncated incorrect datetime value: '0000-01-01 00:00:00' -------------------------------------------------+-------------------------- Reporter: sergey.g.ales...@gmail.com | Owner: sorin Status: assigned | Milestone: Component: django.contrib.admin | Version: 1.1 Resolution: | Keywords: Stage: Unreviewed | Has_patch: 1 Needs_docs: 0 | Needs_tests: 0 Needs_better_patch: 0 | -------------------------------------------------+-------------------------- Comment (by ramiro):
It could be me, but I don't feel comfortable with having to modify: * Code of the MySQL backend * An utility function that is used by other two DB backends just to workaround problems in a contrib app (admin) feature (`date_hierarchy`), especially when the origin is bad data poorly handled by MySQL.
