#6148: Add generic support for database schemas ---------------------------------------------------+------------------------ Reporter: ikelly | Owner: kmpm Status: assigned | Milestone: Component: Database layer (models, ORM) | Version: SVN Resolution: | Keywords: oracle postgresql mysql schemas Stage: Accepted | Has_patch: 1 Needs_docs: 0 | Needs_tests: 0 Needs_better_patch: 1 | ---------------------------------------------------+------------------------ Comment (by kmpm):
Ok. Fixed a issue with m2m models where the ends of the relation were in different schemas. I would like to get some help on mysql testing. Test database creation is dangerous because mysql has an alias between 'create database' and 'create schema' so if someone uses the same schema in tests as in dev/production then the table might get recreated, data altered or in best case testing fails. -- Ticket URL: <http://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/6148#comment:50> Django <http://code.djangoproject.com/> The Web framework for perfectionists with deadlines. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django updates" group.
