 Yes, but that debugging function isn't being called from anywhere else so
 it's a no on and no log file is created. I've left that code in the work
 in progress patch on purpose because it isn't ready for review,
 particularly I was debugging an interaction I was seeing between the new
 multiple schema code and #12286 (reopened and fixed since then).
