#15146: Reverse relations for unsaved objects include objects with NULL foreign key ---------------------------------------------------+------------------------ Reporter: treyh | Owner: nobody Status: new | Milestone: Component: Database layer (models, ORM) | Version: 1.2 Resolution: | Keywords: Stage: Accepted | Has_patch: 0 Needs_docs: 0 | Needs_tests: 0 Needs_better_patch: 0 | ---------------------------------------------------+------------------------ Changes (by russellm):
* component: Uncategorized => Database layer (models, ORM) * stage: Unreviewed => Accepted Comment: This is an edge case that exists when an object has been created, but not saved; at that point, the primary key of the object is NULL, so the reverse query does a lookup with that value. The fix here will be to prevent related object lookups when pk=None. -- Ticket URL: <http://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/15146#comment:3> Django <http://code.djangoproject.com/> The Web framework for perfectionists with deadlines. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django updates" group.
