Comment:

 I must be missing something here, because there's nothing case insensitive
 about the model name in AUTH_USER_MODEL. If your user class is called
 MyUser in an app call myapp, the value of the AUTH_USER_MODEL should be
 myapp.MyUser - myapp.myuser is an error, and should be reported as such,
 and as far as I can make out, it is.
