Ok, fair points. I think that using python in a pure CGI setup is responsible in part of the lack of performance here.
Because that, I'm looking how use fastcgi and/or wsgi here. Also, I don't see how the common setup of map .py extension for cgi can help with django (how can execure django/home? how load the settings?) I have FastCGI installed under IIS...
