I corrected my settings.py links: TEMPLATE_DIRS = 'C:/django/portfolio_root/templates/' MEDIA_ROOT = 'C:/django/portfolio_root/site-media/' MEDIA_URL = '/site-media/' ADMIN_MEDIA_PREFIX = '/media/'
