As little as you can get away with; it's for when your server has screwed up. However, you probably want to make it distinguishable from the apache-level 500 page, in a manner you can ask a user reporting a failure a single simple question to tell the difference. At one stage I had the bright idea of making them look the exact same for appearances' sake.
