Indeed, very uninformative. Which database engine do you use, innodb? If so, do a 'show engine innodb status'. The mysql errorlog may also show relevant errors. You could also try rebuilding tables by using 'alter table table_name engine=innodb' (or myisam if you use that). -- Dennis K.
