Hi, http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.2/topics/db/multi-db/ contain information about setting up multiple databases. I personally have no idea how this would scale to may users. If you are looking to store large amounts of data I would look at an alternative to SQLite. I have found http://www.postgresql.org/ to work very well with large datasets.
